![]() just try to not let it **** you off too much. The day that happens, we can run like ****! Until then. Or better yet: Perhaps someday a robust email/calendar/contacts app for the Mac will come along to compete with Outlook. With luck, maybe MS will add CalDav (and the one for contacts which I am not remembering at the moment) to Outlook for Mac and save us weary Mac users. When you click on Add to Outlook Contacts, there will be a contact information dialog popup. You will see the option window showing up. After opening the email, put your cursor on the email address and then right click on it. and just forget about syncing your calendar. Add new contacts from email to Outlook address book. If not, then periodically export all your contacts to the Mac Contacts app and sync that. IF you have an IT person who can set you up with MS Exchange, go for it and bask in the glory of being able to sync. I am a 365 subscriber, so I signed up for a trial to update my subscription to the Busines version, went through the hassle to ge Exchange set up, spent a few days fiddling with it and maybe 2 hours on the phone with MS support and was utterly amazed at how poor the support was. Until Microsoft adds support for CalDav (and the one for contacts which I am not remembering at the moment), you will only be able to sync if you use MS Exchange. I spent several weeks battling this exact issue and finally admitted defeat.
